COurses for Everyone

Courses & Certification Programs

Our Vision

We pride ourselves on providing one-of-a-kind learning experiences with curricula, instruction methods and more that were created with you in mind. An NISHW experience will prepare ALL to work with the BIPOC communities in a manner that will not only leave you confident in your skill set but prepares you for integration of the practices before and after the certification has been earned.

NISHW offers general courses that will range from one continued education credit/clock hour to up to eight hours of instruction. Individuals may pick and choose courses to meet their educational needs and improve their skill set in certain areas and populations they feel they lack experience in. These can be used towards NISHW certification programs should they be completed within 12 months of acceptance in a full certification program. Courses completed outside of this time frame will need to be re-taken.

We offer sex therapy certifications that meet eligibility for AASECT Certification Track as well as the Florida Certification track. Florida is the ONLY state that has a mandate on the use of the term “sex therapy” in the US. Applicants will have the opportunity to also complete a specialization in addition to their general certification knowledge. This is a unique offering as it’s built into your internship experience at NISHW and allows for mastery beyond core knowledge, while killing two birds with one stone with an all-in-one certification. This will save you $, time and jump start you on the way to a fulfilling career in sex therapy. Specialization tracks will be revealed when registration opens for certification tracks SOON.

We also offer certifications in Sex Education and Sex Counseling that meet eligibility for AASECT Certification Tracks.

Students that already have a sexuality related certification and/or education from other institutions are welcome to attend. Specialty certifications will be offered separately to all that just want specific training in those areas once NISHW releases them. This is a great option for those who don’t desire a full certification.

***Due to the uniqueness of our program, we will NOT be accepting prior CE credits from other institutions or programs. This is to protect the integrity of our system and program.
